Point the form at a stylist
A form can belong to the salon or to one stylist. The stylist it belongs to is the one whose waitlist an approval fills, and the one an invite books with.1
Open the form's settings
Go to Forms, open the form, and choose Form settings (the gear in
the editor’s toolbar). These settings are on the General tab, and you
set them from a computer.
2
Choose the form owner
Set Form owner to the person the form is for, or leave it on
Salon-Wide for a form the whole team works from. Owners and admins set
this on any form in the salon; a booth renter’s own forms are already hers.
3
Set what approval does
Set When approved to Add to waitlist. Approving a submission now
creates or links the client and puts her in line with that stylist.
Approve her onto the waitlist
Open the form’s Results, read the submission, and choose Approve to waitlist. Sable matches her to an existing client by email or phone, or creates the client from what she submitted. The approved response then says whose waitlist she is on, with a link straight to it. If she had no preferred stylist yet, the form’s stylist becomes hers. Approving the same submission twice keeps the one row. Nobody stands in line twice.Work the line
Clients → Waitlist shows everyone waiting. Filter by Everyone or by a stylist to see one person’s line, with the count on each chip. Every row carries what you need to decide who to call:- Who she is, and her number or email.
- The stylist she is waiting for.
- Applied via the form she came through, when she applied.
- How long she has been waiting.
- Where the invite stands: sent by text, sent by email, or waiting to go.
- Waiting, Contacted, Booked, or Removed.
Invite her when an opening appears
1
Choose Invite to book
Select Invite to book on her row.
2
Confirm the stylist
The invite opens on the stylist she is waiting for. Owners, managers,
and front desk can pick someone else, which hands her over (see below).
3
Set an expiry, or don't
An invite stays good until it’s used. Turn on Set an expiry for a
“this week only” opening.
4
Create it, then send it
Select Create. Sable mints a private booking link for that stylist
and hands it to you: Copy link, Share, Send by text, or
Send by email. Texting needs her mobile number and her agreement to
receive texts; if she gave you that permission, confirm it on the spot.
