This page covers the account itself: who you are in Sable, how your workspace looks, what you pay, and how it all stays locked down.

Your profile

Your avatar at the bottom of the sidebar opens your personal Account settings: your name, your profile photo, and your preferences. This is you-the-person; your salon’s public identity (the name and logo clients see) lives in Settings → Business and Booking Page. Belong to more than one business? The same menu lists each one under Businesses; choose one to open its dashboard. In the Sable app for iPhone and iPad, tap your name at the top of the menu to switch. A shared Salon Mode device stays with the salon it belongs to. Your mobile number is how you sign in, so changing it takes one extra step: select Change next to it, enter the new number, and type the code Sable texts to it. The new number takes effect as soon as the code checks out. Invited teammates can finish account setup from their invitation email. The person inviting them supplies their name, mobile number, and email. Acceptance uses a sign-in code or a connected account, followed by mobile verification when needed. The Salon Mode PIN is for shared devices; personal phone login uses an SMS code.

How Sable looks

Two layers, on purpose:
  • Your preference: light or dark, and the Cozy or Smart style, under Account settings → Preferences.
  • The workspace default: in Settings → Business, the owner sets the workspace theme and decides whether team members can pick their own. One salon, one look, unless you choose otherwise.

Billing: your Sable subscription

The Billing page in Settings manages what you pay Sable: your plan, the card on file, and your invoice history. Plans follow the shape of the business: a solo tier, and a salon tier that adds multi-stylist payouts, commissions, and team reporting. Changing or canceling is self-serve, and canceling keeps your access through what you’ve paid for. Saving a replacement card makes it your subscription’s billing card. Adding a card during an active trial keeps the rest of your trial; it does not start your paid plan early. When adding or replacing a card, enter your card details and choose Save card. The button becomes available once the secure form is ready and the required fields are complete. If the form cannot load, choose Try again or close it and reopen it. If saving fails, the dialog explains what happened and lets you retry. Salons with complimentary access can save a card for Sable purchases. Saving a card keeps that complimentary access in place. Business texting registration is included with complimentary access and needs no card. Two different cards to keep straight: the card here pays for Sable; the payouts in Balance are your salon’s money from clients. Separate rails, separate pages.

Security

Under Account settings → Security:
  • Salon Mode PIN: choose or change the four digits you use to unlock a shared front-desk computer or iPad as yourself.
  • Password: add or change one alongside your phone sign-in.
  • Two-factor authentication: scan the QR code with an authenticator app, save your recovery codes somewhere that isn’t a screenshot in your camera roll, and regenerate them if they ever leak.
  • Sessions: every device signed into your account, with the browser and platform listed. See one you don’t recognize, or lose a phone? Revoke it, or revoke everything but the device in your hand.
For owners: your account can move money and read every client record, so turn on two-factor first for yourself, then nudge the team. A Salon Mode session belongs to the shared device, not to one person’s personal browser. Personal profile, sign-in, connected account, session-management, organization-switching, and invitation actions stay on your own device. Lock the shared device when you finish so the next teammate enters their PIN.

Face ID on your iPhone or iPad

When biometric app lock is enabled, you can switch to another app and return to Sable within five minutes without another Face ID or Touch ID prompt. After five minutes away, Sable asks you to unlock again. Reopening Sable after it has fully closed also requires an unlock. If you just unlocked the device itself, Sable uses that unlock without asking a second time. Shared devices in Salon Mode keep their own PIN and automatic-lock settings.

Connected accounts and voice

The remaining Account settings tabs cover Connected Accounts (external sign-ins linked to yours) and Voice, where Jules’s voice experience is configured. Both are set-and-forget for most people. Still stuck? Visit the Help Center to submit a support ticket.

Connected apps

When connector access is enabled for your workspace, open Account settings → Connected accounts → Connected apps to review the permissions you granted or disconnect an app. Connections use your personal account and current workspace role. Booking and rescheduling proposals require your separate approval in Sable. See the Muse connector guide for the review flow and data-sharing details.

Salon setup during migration

Your migration specialist can prepare your business profile, branding, booking page, booking rules, working hours, reminder wording, notifications, inventory preferences and Forms preferences from your previous settings and instructions. The Migration Authorization the owner signs at the start covers this setup too, so there is nothing else to sign. The specialist reviews current and proposed values before applying changes. Enabling public booking or reminders needs an explicit activation review. Saving reminder settings sends no messages, and booking policies do not charge clients or change your payment accounts.
