How the app is organized

On the web, the left sidebar is home base. On iPhone and iPad, the bottom bar highlights Home, Calendar, or Inbox when that destination is active. Other pages, such as Clients or Services, highlight Menu. Going back updates the highlight to match the page you return to. Here’s what lives where: On the web, Search sits just below the Sable logo. Use it to jump to a page or search your clients by name or phone number. Press ⌘K (Ctrl+K on Windows), use the arrow keys to choose a result, and press Enter to open it. The menu only shows destinations your role can access. Collapse the sidebar with the control beside the logo. Hover over an icon to see its name and any pages underneath it; click a page to open it. Click the Sable icon to expand the sidebar again. Settings opens its own panel, with a search field for settings and a Back button to return to your previous page. At the bottom, click your business name to open your profile, switch between businesses you belong to, or log out. The bell beside it opens Alerts. On a phone or narrow browser window, tap the sidebar button at the bottom left. The page slides aside to reveal the menu, with Settings, Alerts, and your profile at the top and Search below. Choose a destination to return to your work, or tap the dimmed page to close the menu. Escape closes it from a keyboard. On the iPhone app, the Search tab can search clients, appointments, invoices, products, services, and messages, with chips to narrow the results. Transactions, Services, Inventory, and Clients have a compact title and icon at the top left, with their actions at the top right. Filters and lists fill the workspace. Use each page’s actions to add or manage its records. Open Ask Jules from the floating button at the bottom to ask questions and manage your day. Trial notices and Lock Salon Mode, when available, live in the sidebar.

Your web dashboard

Revenue this week shows cumulative revenue through today in your salon’s timezone. The line ends at today; days later in the week stay blank. Appointments this week uses daily bars. Outlined bars show appointments scheduled for later in the week. Getting Started on your dashboard recommends setup tasks you have permission to complete. On a wide screen, two larger cards sit above three smaller ones. Completing a task brings in the next recommendation. Hover over a card to reveal X and dismiss it, or focus the dismiss button with your keyboard. On a touch screen, the dismiss button stays visible. Dismissal does not mark the task complete. Show dismissed restores recommendations in this browser for the current business and member. Payment setup leaves Getting Started after your enrollment details are submitted. Enroll for messaging, when available for your business, opens business texting enrollment. It leaves Getting Started after you submit enrollment, while carrier review continues. The first service and product cards leave once a record exists. Opening booking customization successfully counts as reviewing it, so you can keep its defaults. The automated-message card leaves after you customize a template or dismiss it. The six daily action tiles and Up next appear when all recommendations are complete or dismissed. Restoring an unfinished recommendation brings Getting Started back and hides those sections until you’re finished.
